On Saturday, we gave Michael Hall some company with the return of Brie Larson. FIrst, though, some setup and directorial decisions from Michael Knowles:

The scene is funnier than it looks from this shot:

The next day, Michael got to leave the bedroom for some more scenes with Brie:

Hey there! If you live in the NYC area and are interested in seeing The Trouble With Bliss in an actual, honest-to-God movie theater, it’s opening at City Cinemas’ Village East Cinemas next Friday, March 23rd! It will play for a week but not necessarily any longer than that, and performance on that opening weekend is critical to the film’s success, so if you can make it out, not only will you see a movie that you’ll enjoy (we hope), but you’ll really be supporting the life of the film. Tickets are available here:
And for further info on the film’s release, cool promo videos, contest giveaways, and more, please check out and Like our Facebook page. Thanks so much for your support!

I think Morris has more fun when Brie’s character’s around. Stay tuned for more updates!
Day 13 was a short and civilized day, taking place just at one location — Good Records NYC, on — appropriately enough — 5th Street. The crew’s looking all business here:
If you haven’t seen our Facebook page in the last day, check it out for an exclusive interview with Dexter’s Michael C. Hall about The Trouble With Bliss!
Also there are some fun promotions going on on our website:
The film opens in NYC at the Village East on March 23rd, only 3 weeks from tomorrow! Tickets will be on sale very soon!
We got up before sunrise to catch the early morning light by the little park on Second Avenue between 10th and 11th Street. Michael C. Hall, as always, was a trooper as we got him ready and in position:
Hey there! Our new trailer for The Trouble With Bliss, starring Dexter’s Michael C. Hall, just premiered exclusively on iTunes Trailers! Please check it out here!
Saturday was beautiful, which was lucky since we were outside all day. We got an early morning start setting up in front of the East Village’s Tompkins Square Park:
The shoot at Tompkins Square Park went smoothly and we had some extra time available, so Brie Larson was good enough to come out and give us a chance to get ahead of our schedule. Director Michael Knowles conferred with her:
After four straight killer nights, finishing with the sun up on Wednesday, we all needed a little rest, so we came back to day shoots on Friday. This was a big day, with paparazzi everywhere as we shot on 7th Street in front of…well, see for yourself:
